Summer! This is the best time of
the year to go to the beach and show-off your body more often, since you need
to wear lesser clothes. But the question
is do you have your coca-cola figure yet?
Of course you don’t want your love handles to be shown once you wear
your bikinis.
Here are some tips to shape up
your body to be beach ready in no time:
Change your diet. Get away from fatty foods, especially the meals
from fastfood chains. Eat more fruits
and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables have
low calories and help your skin radiate.
According to Juliette Kellow
BSc RD “Eating more fruit and veg is essential
both for good health and to help us lose weight. Most fruits and vegetables are
low in calories and fat, and high in fibre – three essential ingredients for
successful weight loss. Most also contain plenty of vitamins,
minerals and antioxidants, all of which are important for helping us to
look and feel our best and to protect us from disease.”
Burn your calories. Never finish your day without an
exercise. Make sure you have an hour a
day for workout. Have a 30 minute cardio
activities to help burn calories and 30 minute yoga or other body exercise to
boost burning more calories. Find a
workout that is suitable for your body type and strength. You may ask a fitness coach for more effective
workouts for your body.
Be a sleeping beauty. Never allow your day to have less than 8 hour
sleep. Your body needs at least 8 hours
of straight sleep so that it has time to rest and repair. Sound mind, sound body. Sleep is the key.
Hydrate and detoxify your body. Drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday. Water helps a lot in hydrating your body
which is very good to your skin and at the same time it helps in eliminating
toxin in your body. The more you drink
water the more you hydrate and detoxify your body.
Mind over matter. Set a starting date to allow yourself to do
the aforementioned tips. Once you’ve
decided to start, be consistent. In two
weeks, you’ll see a gradual change. Then,
don’t stop anymore. Don’t quit! You don’t want to be a loser, don’t you?
